Our Brusk journey began in 2020.
During a 10 year period in which we relied too much on store bought bread and processed foods, we developed sinus and skin problems, brain fog and lack of energy.
The day we realised that the quality and overuse of modern day gluten is a culprit, we had to make drastic changes in our household.
My old, beloved health rusk recipe had to be altered. It took 3 months of research, trial and error until the family was happy with the new rusk.
We wanted to make it available to other people who were also looking for a healthier alternative.
Brusk stands for Breakfast Rusk and is filling and nutritious.
The grains are wholefood (the germ holds the goodness). Real butter and free range eggs are used. Even the sugar with molasses has nutrional value.
No preservatives.
